Company: Chrysler LLC is a unit of Chrysler Holding LLC, which came into existence on Aug. 3, 2007. Chrysler Holding LLC holds a 100 percent each of Chrysler LLC—manufacturer of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep ® vehicles and Chrysler Financial Services LLC, which provides financial services for those vehicles in the NAFTA region.

Cerberus Capital Management LP, a private equity firm based in New York City, holds an 80.1 percent stake in Chrysler Holding LLC, and Daimler AG holds a 19.9 percent equity interest in the new company.

Location: Chrysler headquarters is located in Auburn Hills, Michigan, about 30 miles northwest of Detroit.
